Infrastructure projects like dams, thermal power plants, highways, railways, bridges etc. involves displacement of people and disruption of their life. Social Impact Assessment of such projects help to estimate the extent of social, cultural, political and economic impact, and suggest mitigation measures to reduce the negative impact. SIA for Industries
Social Impact Assessment is an integral part of Environment and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) mandatory for Companies while setting up of new industry, geographical expansion and production enhancement as part of the Environmental Clearance Process. As an accredited expert by NABET QCI recognized by Ministry of Environment and Forestry MoEF for conducting SIA for Industries we have worked for several chemical, pharma, mining and thermal production companies. The SIA is a customized study that involve estimation of positive and negative social impact and designing mitigation plan and CSR strategy.
The report is prepared keeping in mind Environmental concerns and a CER plan is developed for each Company. Compliance to CER and CSR plan ensures Environmental Clearance to respective Companies.
